A contemporary reinterpretation of the classic utility bomber, exploring the interplay between structure, transparency, and functionality.

Crafted from an unexpected combination of washed khaki cotton gabardine, charcoal felt wool, and black sheer organza, the jacket features a cropped silhouette with sculptural, voluminous sleeves. Sheer organza overlays trace the curved sleeve construction, introducing lightness and movement to its structured form.

Contrasting felt wool defines the oversized collar, angular side flap pockets, and zip closure. The wool is further manipulated through precise pleating to recreate traditional ribbed cuffs and waistband, transforming familiar bomber details through material experimentation.

Conceived as a study of the bomber’s anatomy, the fully reversible construction reveals bound seam piping and functional flap pockets on the reverse, transforming traditionally concealed details into visible design elements.

Balancing utilitarian references with experimental tailoring, the jacket reimagines a wardrobe classic through hybrid construction and multifunctionality, challenging the boundaries between interior and exterior.
